The Facts

U.S. Army units which liberated the concentration camps

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, D.C.,, describes that 35 U.S. Army Divisions (infantry, armored, and airborne) liberated the various concentration camps in early 1945.

— General Of The Army Dwight D. Eisenhower’s Observation and Comments:

“The things I saw beggar description... The visual evidence and the verbal testimony of starvation, cruelty and bestiality were... overpowering... I made the visit deliberately in order to be in a position to give first-hand evidence of these things if ever, in the future, there develops a tendency to charge these allegations merely to 'propaganda.' “

— The Holocaust Is a Legally Established Fact

The Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Los Angeles Case No. C356542 (Mel Mermelstein vs. Institute for Historical Review), 1981:

"WHEREAS, on October 9, 1981, the parties in dispute in the litigation filed cross-motions for summary judgment resulting in the court, per the Honorable Thomas T. Johnson, taking judicial notice as follows: 'Under Evidence Code Section 452(h), this court does take judicial notice of the fact that Jews were gassed to death at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp in Poland during the summer of 1944' and 'It just simply is a fact that falls within the definition of Evidence Code Section 452(h). It is not reasonably subject to dispute. And it is capable of immediate and accurate determination by resort to sources of reasonably indisputable accuracy. It is simply a fact.'"
